Today, when electronic products such as notebook computers and tablet computers are popular, they exist silently in our work and study in a unique way and cannot be replaced. We have been in contact with notebooks and notebooks since our school days, but we do not necessarily fully understand the size of notebooks. In this regard, this article summarizes the size of common notebooks to help you choose a suitable size notebook.

The conventional size comparison of notebook printing and notepad printing can be roughly divided into two size division methods. One is the usual way of saying, such as A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, B4, B5, B6, etc.; the other is based on open numbers, such as 16K, 25K, 32K, 64K, etc.

The most common daily notepad size, such as A4, is the size of commonly used printing and copying paper, and it is also the internationally accepted paper standard. This paper standard comes from Germany, which is 210*297mm. Taking A4 as the base unit of measurement, the size of A3 is twice that of A4, which is 420*297mm. The size of A5 is half of A4, which is 210*148mm. The size of A6 is a quarter of that of A4, which is 105*148mm. The size of A7 is one-eighth of the size of A4, which is 105*74mm.

In the same way, B5 is also the size of commonly used printing and copying paper, which is also the internationally accepted paper standard, which is 176*250mm. Taking B5 as the base unit of measurement, the size of B4 is twice that of B5, which is 250*353mm; the size of B6 is the general size of B5, which is 125*176mm.

According to the size of positive full-open paper, 787*1092mm is the size of full-open paper. The size of 16K is one-sixteenth of full-open paper, which is 195*270mm, and the size of 25K is one-fifth of full-open paper, which is 156*216mm. By analogy, the size of 32K is 135*195mm, and the size of 64K is 97*135mm.

The above dimensions are calculated according to the original size of the paper. Specifically made into notebooks or notepads, there will be different subtle differences. Due to different manufacturers, they basically meet the above specifications. The reasons for the gap are the size of the cover, the way of binding, the paper of the inner pages, etc.

The sizes of A3 and B4 are relatively large and not easy to carry, so they are suitable for sketching and sketching. The sizes of A6, A7, and 64K are relatively small, and they are rarely used as business notebooks or notepads. They are commonly used in student notebooks, which are convenient for daily carrying.

After reading the above summary, do you finally have a better understanding of the most familiar notebook size and paper specification algorithm?
