Can iPad note-taking really replace paper notebooks?

Whether electronic notes can be replaced depends on personal habits and actual conditions. The tool itself has no bias.

First and foremost, you will never find the feeling of writing on a paper notebook when you write on the iPad. Even if you just put a piece of paper on a smooth table and write with a ballpoint pen, the two still feel different. Regardless of whether it is pasted on paper film, whether there is a pen tip cover or tape, this is not only a problem of writing feeling, but also a psychological problem. You will feel in your heart that studying with traditional paper books will be more formal and have a feeling of "I'm learning".

Secondly, the iPad has been used for a long time, which makes my eyes tired. You might say that reading a paper book for a long time makes your eyes tired. But paper books are tired mainly because of staring at nearby books for a long time. This is why it is said that you should get up and move around when reading a book, and look at the distance. Because when your eyes are always focused at the same distance, it will cause great fatigue. iPad learning not only has this focus fatigue, but also the soreness caused by the long-term exposure of the light of electronic products to the eyes. But it's okay if you have a reasonable rest.

Third, in some cases, iPad cannot be used as a substitute for learning. Some people may ask, is it about power outages or network failures? Those are problems that can be avoided through your personal preparation, such as bringing a power bank phone to open a hot spot. What I want to say is the mock examination room. When you want to simulate the feeling in the examination room, you must not use the iPad. The reason for simulation is to restore the situation, feelings and possible accidents in the examination room to the greatest extent. 

You use the iPad to simulate the examination questions. What is simulated is only the title and time. Even in terms of time, the speed and handwriting of writing with a pencil and writing with a gel pen are not the same, which may directly affect your time to do the questions. Moreover, there is no withdrawal or eraser if you make a mistake during the exam.

Fourth, the probability of this situation is small, but it is fatal if it occurs, that is, the loss of documents in electronic products.
